Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive and manage KYC and KYB policies for India and other geographies. As a Digital Risk Manager, you will play a leadership role in building the Risk assurance function for new geographies and business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive the team to deliver effective merchant selection with appropriate KYC and KYB verification
  • Define risk acceptance policies as required by regulators
  • Establish and manage International Merchant Acquiring Risk function
  • Identify KPIs and establish BAU functions
  • Work with local banking and regulatory agencies to define internal SOP and policies
  • Manage internal and external audits
  • Collaborate with teams to drive Risk assurance function across group companies
  • Automate manual processes to optimize resources

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Thorough understanding of KYB and KYC processes for India and Singapore, UAE, and Malaysia
  • Experience in Risk assurance function, preferably in Merchant Acquiring domain
  • Knowledge of Indian Payment Compliances and understanding of International onboarding/KYC/KYB/Risk management
  • Sound knowledge of Network (Visa/MasterCard) Rules and compliance for Merchant Acquiring business
  • Ability to perform investigations and come back with remedial actions
  • Data analysis skills and ability to derive Risk performance metrics
  • Clear understanding of payment instruments and payment risks

Years of Experience: 8+ years of experience in merchant underwriting, KYC/KYB process, and merchant risk assessment domain
