Financial Services Director

The successful candidate will lead the process standardization, simplification, and automation of transactional activities.
They must ensure consistent service delivery across departments from the shared service provider for transactional services.
This role requires drive to identify and pursue value-add opportunities, extensive collaboration with business stakeholders, and energy to implement effective end-to-end solutions to deliver enhanced efficiency and productivity.
Accountabilities and Key Activities- Ensure compliance to operational procedures and methodologies in transactional areas and refine them on an ongoing basis.
- End-to-end procure-to-pay knowledge with hands-on experience at transactional level to guide the service provider to improve efficiency in operations.
- Understanding of vendor management with focus on improvement in vendor-related metrics.
- Process automation - identification of opportunities to simplify operational processes and automate them to create more efficiencies.
- Review and revise global operating procedures to align to improved processes and practices.
- Ensure consistent levels of service delivery by the service provider and engage with departments in service to improve/sustain them.
- Define and update Risk and Control Matrix, review and resolve audit findings. Support internal and external audit teams in their assignments.
- Provide support and guidance to the business through implementation of standardized processes and controls, monitoring compliance with group policies and procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Plan and conduct reviews on financial and operational aspects and identify control deficiencies, suggest improvements.
