Job Description

The primary role of this position is to ensure the accurate and timely issuance of debit notes from corporate to all intercompany entities. This involves reviewing and processing all debit and credit notes received from corporate and other intercompany entities, as well as maintaining the accuracy of intercompany account reconciliations and balances.

Responsibilities

  1. Issuance of Debit Notes: The successful candidate will be responsible for issuing debit notes from corporate to all intercompany entities in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Accounting and Reconciliation: They will review and process all debit and credit notes received from corporate and other intercompany entities, and maintain the accuracy of intercompany account reconciliations and balances.
  3. Vendor Management: The candidate will be responsible for creating and updating vendor cards as required, and coordinating with GL coordinators to clarify any issues related to vendor accounts.
  4. GL Coordination: They will work closely with approvers to obtain approval for posting GL entries, and ensure that all GL entries are accurate and compliant with company policies.
  5. Reporting and Analysis: The successful candidate will prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements, and conduct variance analysis to identify and investigate any discrepancies or anomalies.
  6. Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger processes and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
