Job Opportunity:

The role of an Oracle Finance Functional Analyst involves understanding client business processes and mapping them to Oracle EBS. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience and possess strong analytical skills, requirement engineering expertise, and a solid understanding of agile methodologies.

This position requires collaboration with the technical architect to identify solutions for existing gaps in client processes. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are essential for working effectively with stakeholders in various time zones.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate or lead detailed requirement studies
  • Prepare comprehensive As-Is process documents and obtain sign-off from clients
  • Map client requirements to Oracle EBS application processes
  • Create To-Be Process documents and obtain client sign-off
  • Setup Conference Room Pilot (CRP) environments
  • Conduct CRP testing, unit testing, integration testing, and prepare test scripts
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manuals
  • Test customizations in Forms, Interfaces, and Reports
  • Setup User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environments
  • Assist users in UAT and resolve UAT issues
  • Set up Production Instances
  • Support developers in data migration tasks
  • Provide post-live support

Qualifications/Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle Finance modules, preferably R12
  • Experience in GL/AP/AR and FA implementation, India GST, and EBTAX is highly desirable
  • Minimum two End-to-End implementations in R12
  • Strong accounting knowledge
  • Good experience in migrations

Requirements:

  • Strong business analyst skills, including analytical skills, requirement engineering, design thinking, and agile methodologies
  • Experience working in Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban) and tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps)
  • Team player with excellent stakeholder relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to work in multicultural environments and across different time zones
  • Self-management skills and stress resilience are essential
