Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and experienced professionals to fill the role of Laboratory Instructor. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting faculty members in delivering practical sessions, maintaining lab safety, and ensuring the availability and calibration of lab equipment.

The Laboratory Instructor will conduct and supervise laboratory sessions for undergraduate students, prepare and evaluate practical skills, maintain laboratory equipment and inventory, enforce safety protocols, and collaborate with academic faculty to align laboratory content with theoretical components of the course.

Additionally, the Laboratory Instructor will provide technical support to students during skill development and internal assessments, participate in curriculum review and development of new laboratory manuals, and maintain documentation for laboratory sessions, stock registers, and compliance audits.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree (minimum) in a relevant Allied and Healthcare field
    • Master's Degree or additional certifications is an added advantage
  • Experience:
    • Minimum two years of relevant experience in a laboratory/clinical setting or academic institution
    • Prior experience in academic instruction is an added advantage
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in handling laboratory equipment
    • Strong communication and instructional skills
    • Familiarity with regulatory standards
    • Basic computer literacy for academic documentation and report generation
