Backend Developer

We are seeking a seasoned backend developer with expertise in SQL to spearhead the migration of data solutions from Azure Synapse Analytics to SQL-based systems.

Job Description

  • Design, optimize, and deliver scalable data workflows that integrate seamlessly with SQL databases.
  • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs that leverage SQL database capabilities.
  • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions that meet business needs.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure scalability, security, and data integrity.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in backend development and SQL databases.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server (or equivalent relational databases).
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and database migration/ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in a backend programming language such as C#, Python, Java, or Node.js.
  • Experience with API development and integration.
  • Solid understanding of relational database design and normalization principles.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in performance tuning of large-scale SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL or hybrid data solutions.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps for database deployments.
