Our team is looking for a skilled Data Scientist to join our Data Services partner group.

About DS/AI Competency Center:

We utilize data, analytics, and artificial intelligence technologies to extract insights, build predictive models, and develop AI-powered solutions.

Our focus areas include Exploratory Data Analysis, Statistical Modeling, Model Deployment, and Integration as well as Model Monitoring and Maintenance.

We deliver business solutions using multiple AI techniques and tools.

Requirements:

  • Must Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in data science or operations research, with at least 2 years of experience in data science/operations research roles.
  • Experience in optimization methodologies, including use of various optimization libraries.
  • Strong Python coding skills, including object-oriented programming concepts, and basic working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience working in cloud technologies, preferably MS Azure.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and theories.
  • Experience in CRISP-DM projects delivery and Agile project management.
  • Experience in client-facing roles and gathering business requirements.
  • Able to apply independent research, gather information, and give recommendations on diverse scope problems.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of other programming languages, e.g., R.
  • Experience working in Spark (PySpark).
  • Background in statistical/mathematical fields.

Tasks:

  • Business understanding, data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and deployment of solutions following CRISP-DM methodologies.
  • Understanding of optimization methodologies, including linear/integer/nonlinear programming and heuristics.
  • Proactive approach for areas where improvement is needed, like suggesting improvements to existing pipelines.
  • Creation and following of standards to improve competency quality.
