Job Opportunity

The role of a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test involves designing tests to expose weaknesses in storage systems, kernel interactions and edge cases. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience testing storage systems, filesystems or cloud infrastructure.

Must-haves include hands-on experience with Linux/Windows storage stacks and benchmarking tools (fio, vdbench), strong scripting skills (Java/Python/Bash/Go) and test automation experience, familiarity with kernel debugging (strace, eBPF, WinDbg), and knowledge of cloud storage platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and testing;
  2. Strong understanding of operating system internals;
  3. Hands-on experience with storage stack components;
  4. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker;
  5. Knowledge of common security vulnerabilities;
  6. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines;
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
