Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced System Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing and implementing control systems for various industrial applications.

\

Key Responsibilities

\
  • \
  • Develop and implement control system designs for oil and gas, semiconductor, and mining & metal projects.\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and quality standards.\
  • Prepare detailed documentation, including design criteria, field instrumentation data sheets, and technical bid evaluations.\
  • Participate in 3D model review sessions and provide input on instrument installation details and bulk material takeoffs.\
  • Assist designers in modeling instruments and junction boxes using industry-standard software.\
  • Analyze and develop complex loop control narratives, cause-and-effect matrices, and logic narratives.\
  • Prepare instrument index, data sheets, wiring and loop diagrams, loop folders, and calculations.\
  • Work closely with vendors to review and evaluate proposals, specifications, and technical documents.\
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, issues, and resolutions.\
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulatory codes and standards.\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices.\
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to resolve issues and meet project objectives.\
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and skills development within the team.\
  • Promote a culture of safety, respect, and inclusivity within the organization.\

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • \
  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control/Electronics and Instrumentation or related field.\
  • Minimum 4-7 years of experience in control system design and implementation.\
  • Strong understanding of control system principles, instrumentation, and process control.\
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.\
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.\
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools.\
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.\
  • Certifications such as TUV/Exida Certified Functional Safety Professional and Certified Cyber Security Professional are highly desirable.\
  • Additional certifications or training may be required based on project needs.\
