Financial Operations Specialist

Job Description:

  • Accounting Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting activities in a SAP environment, ensuring seamless execution and optimal outcomes.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare comprehensive reports on accounts payable and receivable, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Transaction Processing: Manage the preparation of BRS, vouchers, banking, and billing, maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date bookkeeping records, accurately reflecting financial transactions and ensuring compliance with established procedures.
  • AR/AP Reconciliation: Conduct thorough reconciliation of accounts receivable and payable, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
  • Intercompany Reconciliation: Coordinate intercompany reconciliation processes, ensuring accurate financial data and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Journal Entry and Voucher Management: Maintain accurate journal entries, purchase, expense invoices, and voucher entries, ensuring adherence to financial regulations.
  • Transaction Oversight: Monitor expenditure and collection transactions, detecting potential errors or discrepancies and taking corrective action as needed.
  • Purchase, Sales, and Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records related to purchase, sales, and stock register/inventory management, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
  • Customer and Supplier Communication: Effectively communicate with internal and external customers/suppliers regarding business-related matters, fostering strong relationships and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Tax Compliance: Possess a complete understanding of GST, TDS, and income tax rules and norms, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and accurate tax filings.

  • Strong accounting and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and income tax rules and norms
