Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team of experienced backend developers. As a senior backend developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable APIs using Node.js and Express.js.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs that meet the highest standards of scalability, security, and performance.
  • Optimize server and database performance by implementing effective caching strategies and optimizing query execution.
  • Ensure the security of our systems by handling authentication and authorization using OAuth, JWT, RBAC.
  • Work with microservices and event-driven systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ to ensure seamless communication between services.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following SOLID principles to ensure easy maintenance and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy, monitor, and scale services in cloud environments like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Mentor junior developers and conduct regular code reviews to ensure high-quality code.
  • Troubleshoot and debug production issues to maintain high system reliability and uptime.
  • Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows to ensure efficient delivery of features.
Requirements:
  • At least 3.5 years of experience in backend development.
  • Proficient in Node.js, Express.js, and RESTful API design.
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, query optimization, and schema design.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture, message queues, and microservices.
  • Understanding of backend security standards and system design principles.
  • Exposure to DevOps tools, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployments.
