Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead the development of complex network infrastructures, with expertise in Juniper and Aruba technologies.

  • Design and implement customer network infrastructure supporting WAN, LAN, WLAN on a multi-vendor network.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network implementation, including change approval processes.
  • Support and coach engineers in the team to provide high-quality services and solutions to customers.
  • Lead and assist in defining strategic objectives for delivering complex projects.
  • Manage deliverables for complex customer design and implementation projects.
  • Perform advanced analysis on complex incidents and act as escalation engineer for internal organizations and clients.
  • Provide fourth-level support for Operations as part of the 'Incident and Problem Management Process'.
  • Develop processes for other engineers to follow for successful solution delivery.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Two or more technical certifications at associate or professional levels related to VZ Product portfolio areas.
  • Technical knowledge and experience to Juniper JNCIP or JNCIE level with focus on WAN, LAN, WLAN.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Aruba Central, Aruba switches, and Aruba WLAN beneficial.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, and comprehension essential.

Experience:

  • 8 or more years' technical experience in design and implementation of large-scale customer networks.
  • Experience within telecommunications organisations/International companies beneficial.
  • Ability to give guidance and coaching to other engineers at a technical level.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
