We're seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join our Platform Product Group team. As a key member of this group, you'll play a vital role in building a trusted, scalable, and compliant platform that operates with speed, efficiency, and quality.

Our teams build and maintain critical platforms for our existence, including Payment, Risk, Proofing & Regulatory, Finhub, Machine Learning, Customer Experience, and Infrastructure. You'll be working alongside high-caliber colleagues who excel in their disciplines and expect the same from you.

The Payments platform team is crafting innovative payment solutions to empower individual consumers and large-scale institutions within the cryptocurrency ecosystem. We're developing state-of-the-art payment infrastructures and experiences to facilitate seamless transitions from traditional currency to crypto.

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Architecting and developing the payments platform
  • Providing technical structure to teams and working closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps
  • Building new services using Golang / Java
  • Designing scalable systems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in architecting large-scale distributed systems
  • Strong technical skills for system design and coding
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A plus would be:

  • Experience with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks
  • Knowledge of Blockchain technology (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum)
  • Experience with Golang, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
