The Role of a High-Performance Data Systems Lead

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced data systems professional to lead our team in delivering high-performance data solutions. As a Team Lead for Advanced Data Systems Delivery, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing complex data architectures to support mission-critical Tier 1 applications.

You will lead the end-to-end delivery of advanced data systems, focusing on revenue management and other high-impact use cases. This includes ensuring solutions meet non-functional requirements (NFRs) such as scalability, performance, availability, and security, while delivering on time, within scope, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure data architectures to support mission-critical applications.
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure efficient data ingestion, transformation, and integration across distributed systems.
  • Maintain data governance, integrity, and security standards across all data architectures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in delivering advanced data systems or similar solutions, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role.
  • Proven track record of deploying high-scale, mission-critical Tier 1 systems with real-time and batch workloads.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing data architectures for large-scale, distributed systems, including data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and storage solutions.
