Lead Model Developer Credit Risk Job

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the development of advanced credit risk models for wholesale portfolios.

The ideal candidate will possess deep domain knowledge and technical expertise in credit risk modeling, including extensive experience with PD, EAD, LGD models compliant with IRB Standards.

This role involves:

  • Designing, building, calibrating, and implementing robust credit risk models across wholesale portfolios with rigorous User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze, interpret, and communicate complex model results and insights
  • Developing comprehensive technical documentation, including model documentation, business requirements documents, validation reports, and regulatory compliance documentation
  • Driving continuous model improvement through identifying optimization opportunities, implementing advanced modeling techniques, and enhancing model performance and predictive accuracy

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have 3-8 years of experience in credit risk model development, with a proven track record of expertise in modeling across wholesale/LDP credit portfolios.

A master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field is preferred, as well as professional certifications in risk management or financial modeling. Experience with machine learning and advanced statistical modeling techniques is also desirable.
