Key Role

This position entails reviewing and closing electronic and audio communication alerts for the EMEA region.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring alerts generated from automated systems to detect potential policy violations, escalating when necessary.
  • Conducting audio surveillance by listening to voice communications of MUFG employees to identify policy breaches, escalating when required.
  • Closing alerts with accurate documentation for audit trail purposes.
  • Following established procedures for each review, modifying them as needed and submitting for approval.
  • Improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the surveillance program, communicating findings to Surveillance teams and the Head of Surveillance.
  • Supporting compliance investigations by gathering data and identifying trends.
  • Preparing metrics to report surveillance results to Senior Management, including identifying potential themes or actions.
  • Staying up-to-date with regulatory changes and internal policy updates to ensure surveillance techniques are current.
  • Supporting general compliance activities and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools such as Tableau.
