About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Cloud FinOps Expert.

As a seasoned Cloud FinOps professional, you will play a key role in shaping our product roadmap and helping us deliver real-time visibility, actionable insights, and proactive control over cloud spend without slowing down speed or scale.

  • You will bring your deep expertise in cloud financial management, cost optimization practices, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment to help us improve our platform.
Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in AWS cost management (multi-cloud experience is a strong plus) and relevant FinOps certifications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising on cloud cost management strategies across AWS (mandatory), and optionally GCP & Azure.
  • Providing insights into common FinOps use cases such as showback/chargeback, forecasting, budget guardrails, anomaly detection, rightsizing, and workload optimization.
  • Collaborating with our engineering and product teams to map real-world challenges into product features.
  • Sharing expertise in cost allocation, tagging strategies, and governance frameworks.
  • Highlighting gaps in current market tools and suggesting opportunities for differentiation.
  • Guiding adoption of FinOps best practices in alignment with the FinOps Foundation principles.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3–6+ years of experience in FinOps, Cloud Cost Optimization, or Cloud Financial Management.
  • Strong practical expertise in AWS Cost Explorer, CUR, CloudWatch, Trusted Advisor, and Budgets.
  • FinOps Certified Practitioner / Advanced Practitioner certification is mandatory.
  • Proven experience implementing chargeback/showback models, forecasting, and cloud governance.
  • Solid technical understanding of cloud architecture and usage drivers (compute, storage, networking).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (Finance and Engineering).
