Job Description

As a Data Engineer with Azure Databricks, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining large-scale data processing systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable data pipelines, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data processing workflows using Azure Databricks and Pyspark
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate data into business applications
  • Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to retrieve data from dimensional data models and data warehouses
  • Work with relational databases and data access methods, especially SQL
  • Contribute to the development of Azure architecture and design
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3-12 years of experience with Databricks and Delta Lake
  • Hands-on experience with Azure and Python scripting
  • Strong skills in ETL methods and data retrieval from dimensional data models and data warehouses
  • Knowledge of relational databases and data access methods, especially SQL
  • Experience with Azure architecture and design
