Job Overview

We are seeking an innovative and hands-on leader to oversee robotic product development, with expertise in robotics, mechanical design, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of robotic products from concept to production, applying innovation and precision.
  • Mentor and manage a team of skilled designers, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Utilize SolidWorks for 3D modeling, motion studies, assembly design & detailing.
  • Prepare manufacturing-ready drawings (GD&T, BOMs, tolerance stack-up).
  • Design products for manufacturability – focus on sheet metal, cable routing, assembly optimization, machined parts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth execution.
  • Drive R&D initiatives, contribute to patents and IP filings.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, design reviews, and compliance with industry standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 6–12 years of experience in robotics, industrial automation, or related fields.
  • Deep expertise in SolidWorks, including motion study, GD&T application, assembly design, and detailing.
  • Proven track record in leading product development from concept to manufacturing in the industrial domain.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication techniques: sheet metal design, cable routing, and machined parts integration.
  • Hands-on experience in preparing detailed BOMs, tolerance analysis, and DFM/DFA.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with a track record of building and mentoring high-performance teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of patent documentation and IP filing processes is an added advantage.
