Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP GRC Security professional to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our SAP systems, implementing security policies, and resolving authorization issues to support the smooth operation of our SAP environment.

About the Role

  • This role involves managing SAP user accounts, roles, and authorizations in compliance with security best practices.
  • You will conduct regular security audits and compliance checks to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring adherence to organizational and industry security standards.
  • The successful candidate will develop, implement, and maintain SAP security policies, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard user access and system integrity.
  • As a member of the security team, you will resolve SAP authorization-related issues, working closely with functional and technical teams to troubleshoot and provide solutions.
  • You will integrate security measures across the SAP landscape, maintaining optimal system performance.
  • Providing training and guidance on SAP security best practices is also an essential aspect of this role, ensuring secure and efficient use of the SAP environment.
  • Maintaining documentation on SAP security configurations, roles, and authorization changes is crucial for the success of this position.
  • Finally, monitoring SAP security logs and performance, identifying potential threats or performance issues, is a key responsibility of this role.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4+ years hands-on experience in SAP security is required.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP security concepts, role management, and troubleshooting security-related issues is essential.
  • Understanding of business processes across functions and how they integrate with SAP access controls is necessary.
  • Familiarity with SAP security tools and ABAP/technical aspects related to SAP security is desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills are required.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.
