Job Opportunity: Secure Systems Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Systems Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure systems for information security and compliance engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure systems to meet information security and compliance requirements.
  • Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of ISO 27001, SOC 2, and NIST SP 800-53 best practices.
  • Work with cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to ensure secure configuration and governance controls.
  • Implement cloud-native security, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.
  • Apply knowledge of access management, encryption, logging/monitoring, and network security principles.
  • Lead technical initiatives, work cross-functionally, and influence at all levels.
  • Develop and maintain effective policies and technical documentation.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in information security or compliance engineering roles.
  • Practical experience with DevOps security practices.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 27001, SOC 2, and NIST SP 800-53.
  • Experience working in cloud-native environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native security, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Solid knowledge of access management, encryption, logging/monitoring, and network security principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
