Gas Turbine Engineer - Design and Development

We are seeking an experienced Gas Turbine Engineer to join our team in a design and development role.

Job Description:
  • Design and develop rotating and stationary components of gas turbines, including blades, vanes, rotors, and casings, to meet functional, robustness, cost-effectiveness, manufacturing, assembly, and service requirements.
  • Develop innovative design solutions, controlling risk through methods like Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Apply robust design principles, focusing on tolerance, analysis, standards, and design rules.
  • Create, evaluate, review, and apply specifications and technical documents, such as design philosophy, purchasing specifications, working specifications, drawings, bills of materials, material masters, inspection specifications, and component descriptions.
  • Prepare 2D and 3D CAD models of individual and assembly components using NX software.
  • Exposure to model-based definition or product manufacturing information (PMI) is preferred.
  • Develop manufacturing and assembly drawings for gas turbine components, create and review bills of material, material master, and inspection specifications according to Siemens standard practices.
  • Ensure seamless transfer of product definition input and output between CAD modeler and project lead.
