Data Leadership Opportunity

About the Role

As a Data Leadership professional, you will act as the primary liaison between assigned business functions and the data analytics team. Your key responsibilities will include understanding business objectives and translating them into actionable data requirements, prioritizing and managing incoming requests from business stakeholders, and facilitating communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of analytics deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison between assigned business functions and the data analytics team.
  • Understand business objectives and translate them into actionable data requirements.
  • Prioritize and manage incoming requests from business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Analytics Delivery & Technical Execution

As a data leader, you will lead the end-to-end development of power bi dashboards, from requirement gathering to deployment and training. Your key responsibilities will include designing and developing interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports in power bi, writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting, and ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency of analytics outputs.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

You will supervise and mentor a team of data analysts, assign work, review outputs, and provide technical guidance. You will also ensure timely delivery of reporting requirements by managing team workload and capacity, promote best practices in data visualization, storytelling, and data governance, and collaborate with other data leaders and the head of data and analytics for cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, data analytics, business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence, with at least 2 years in a team or project lead capacity.
  • Strong hands-on experience in power bi development (including DAX, data modeling, performance tuning).
  • Proficient in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, ETL concepts, and business process mapping.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and coach team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization concepts.
