
Salesforce Specialist

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Administering Salesforce platform operations, encompassing user account management, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings.
- Customizing Salesforce functionality using Point-and-Click tools (e.g., Process Builder, Flow, Validation Rules, Formula Fields) and Apex code where necessary to meet business needs.
- Ensuring data quality through regular data maintenance tasks (e.g., data imports, exports, deduplication, and validation). Implementing and enforcing data standards within the Salesforce platform.
- Providing end-user support by resolving technical issues, answering queries, and delivering training sessions to maximize Salesforce utilization.
- Creating customized reports and dashboards to provide insights and analytics supporting organizational decision-making.
- Automating business processes using Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, Apex, and Automation Tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Integrating Salesforce with external systems (e.g., ERP, marketing automation, APIs) to ensure seamless data flow and improved business processes.
- Configuring and managing Role Hierarchy, Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules to ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies.
- Working with stakeholders to plan, test, and deploy changes or new features in Salesforce using Change Sets, Sandboxes, and Deployment Tools.
- Evaluating Salesforce's capabilities to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Researching new features, functionalities, and integrations to address organizational needs.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Salesforce functionality, integration, or user errors. Collaborating with Salesforce support for advanced issues.
- Maintaining system configurations, processes, and solutions documentation. Developing a knowledge base for user guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting solutions.
- 2-5 years of experience in Salesforce administration or development.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.) and Salesforce tools like Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Process Builder, Flow, Reports and Dashboards.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) certification is required. Additional certifications (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Advanced Administrator) are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Salesforce configuration (e.g., creating custom objects, workflows, validation rules, reports).
- Experience with Apex programming, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components for custom solutions.
- Hands-on experience in Salesforce data import/export tools like Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, and knowledge of SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language).
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug Salesforce issues, both at the user interface and system level.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security (roles, profiles, sharing rules, permission sets).
- Salesforce Integration experience with tools such as MuleSoft, Jitterbit, Dell Boomi, or APIs for connecting with external systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology is preferred.
