Job Overview

The Process Engineer role involves optimizing and streamlining manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.

  • Analyzing existing processes to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to meet performance targets.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Monitoring process performance metrics such as cycle time, yield, and scrap rate, and developing strategies to achieve optimal results.
  • Implementing process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC), to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.
  • Providing technical support and expertise to resolve process-related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Leading process validation activities, including protocol development, execution, and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to optimize process efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure successful implementation and operation of optimized processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as chemical engineering or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with process validation, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance methodologies.
