Job Summary:

The Global KYC Knowledge Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to Know Your Customer (KYC) processes.

This position is responsible for providing expert guidance and support to the team, ensuring that all KYC activities are conducted efficiently and effectively, in line with the bank's standards and regulatory expectations.

  • Provide expert advice on KYC-related matters, including regulatory changes and best practices.
  • Support the implementation of global financial crime program requirements as they relate to KYC.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of KYC, the financial regulatory environment, and AML risk implications, with 5-9 years of experience in KYC process & Anti Money Laundering. They will be able to interpret complex changes in regulatory guidelines and assess impact, with strong knowledge of MAS regulations and global KYC standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate feedback for monthly quality assurance reports from various stakeholders.
  • Discuss with KYC makers/checkers and seek support from relevant stakeholders.
  • Present final feedback to quality assurance and conduct root cause analysis from quality & control reports to identify error trends and knowledge gaps.
  • Oversee necessary escalation to relevant stakeholders.
  • Serve as primary contact for the KYC team in query resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar knowledge manager role within a financial institution.
  • Certification in Anti-Money Laundering or KYC (e.g., CAMS, ICA).
