Job Title: Corporate Governance Specialist
Job Description:
The role of a corporate governance specialist is pivotal in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, facilitating board governance, and advising on corporate governance matters. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital part in supporting corporate decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and distribute notices, agendas, and supporting materials for board and committee meetings, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination.
- Attend board meetings, record minutes, and maintain accurate records of board proceedings, maintaining confidentiality as required.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of statutory documents with regulatory authorities, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact from the corporate secretarial team for the board of directors, shareholders, and regulatory authorities on corporate governance matters, providing expert guidance and support.
- Coordinate and facilitate with the general counsel and CS on board meetings, including preparing agendas, board packs, and minutes, ensuring seamless communication.
- Maintain corporate records, registers, and statutory books as per applicable laws and regulations, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
