Job Title: Sustainability Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Architect with strong experience in parametric building modelling using Rhino and Grasshopper, as well as a solid foundation in building physics and energy efficiency principles.

As a key member of our team, you will work on innovative architectural projects that drive sustainability and performance. You will support design development through advanced digital modelling and analysis.

  • Develop and manage 3D architectural models using Rhino and Grasshopper for conceptual and detailed design phases.
  • Collaborate with design teams to develop energy assessment models to optimize form, function, and environmental performance.
  • Assist in building performance simulations, focusing on thermal comfort, daylighting, shading, and energy efficiency.
  • Apply building physics principles to support passive design strategies and high-performance building outcomes.
  • Work closely with engineers and architects to integrate building energy performance data into the design process.
  • Prepare clear visualizations, diagrams, and technical documentation for internal use and client presentations.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Rhinoceros (Rhino) and Grasshopper for 3D modelling and parametric design.
  • Working knowledge of building physics, passive design strategies, and energy-efficient design.
  • Familiarity with environmental analysis tools such as Ladybug/Honeybee, SketchUp, or IES VE is highly desirable.
  • Strong visual communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet project deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Essential):

  • Knowledge of scripting (e.g., Python, C#) within Grasshopper for custom tool development.
  • Experience with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) or embodied carbon analysis tools.
  • Understanding of local energy codes, green building certifications, or net-zero energy standards.
