About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill our Application Support Engineer position. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health of our infrastructure, ensuring that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Monitoring server performance and reporting any issues to the appropriate teams in a timely manner.
  2. Ensuring that scheduled tasks are completed successfully and rerunning tasks if necessary.
  3. Reporting technical errors to L2/L3 teams for resolution.
  4. Monitoring email, Teams channels, and ticketing systems for new items/tickets and updating them with initial responses.
  5. Gathering additional details from business/end users or other teams as required.
  6. Reproducing issues in testing environments and providing inputs to L2 team members.
  7. Validating issue fixes in internal testing environments based on customer inputs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in application support.
  • Proven experience in monitoring and maintaining infrastructure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in handling customer queries and providing support.
  • Technical background in Java and scripting is an advantage.
