Regulatory Compliance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Specialist to lead the homologation process for retrofit emission control devices and automotive related products.

This role requires driving all the homologation related activity, including both technical and non-technical aspects of the system, leading a team, and ensuring successful completion of type-approval and CoP projects that meet regulatory compliance requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop enhanced homologation strategies and roadmaps for retrofit emission control devices and automotive related products
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH TEST AGENCIES AND REGULATORY AGENCIES TO ENSURE SMOOTH EXECUTION OF PROJECTS
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring effective execution of homologation strategies and meeting project timelines
  • Monitor and report on the homologation process, including risks and issues, to senior management
  • Ensure resources are allocated effectively for homologation-related activities
  • Foster a culture of process-driven ideas across the engineering team, encouraging cross-functional teamwork and open communication
  • Manage external homologation partners and provide guidance on homologation requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in homologation, certification, or regulatory compliance, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and homologation partners
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
