Terraform Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Terraform automation specialist to review our codebase and provide best practice recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review Terraform codebase for deployments across multiple locations.
  • Assess configuration templates, policies, automation workflows, and state management practices.
  • Provide a detailed review report with findings and best practice recommendations.
  • Conduct remote knowledge transfer sessions with the technical team.
Requirements:
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform, including modules, variables, templates, and infrastructure-as-code workflows.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN components, including vManage, vSmart, vBond, device templates, and policies.
  • Ability to evaluate and optimize state management strategies, including remote backends, locking, and workspaces.
  • Experience integrating Terraform with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, such as Git, SharePoint, or Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with network automation best practices and SD-WAN deployment models.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration and client interaction.
Professional Background:
  • At least 7 years of experience in Infrastructure Automation or Network Automation engineering roles.
  • 3+ years of proven hands-on experience with Terraform in production environments.
  • Practical experience with Cisco SD-WAN automation, templates, and policies.
  • Prior exposure to enterprise-scale multi-site WAN deployments is preferred.
