Lady Andal House of Children is an established special school in Chennai, founded by a renowned institution with a long-standing legacy in education.

We are building a dynamic team of special educators to work with learners with multiple disabilities and guide participants in the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Individualised Education Plans
  • Deliver customised instruction to students based on their individual needs and learning styles.
  • Modify the standard curriculum to meet the abilities of students with disabilities.
  • Implement and monitor behaviour intervention plans and use positive behaviour supports.
  • Work closely with general education teachers, therapists, counsellors, and parents to support students' academic and social development.
  • Assess and track student performance and progress regularly, adjusting goals accordingly.
  • Maintain a supportive, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Keep accurate student records, including attendance, assessments, and communications.

Our ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and implementing IEPs, providing instructional support tailored to students' unique needs, managing student behavior effectively, and adapting curriculum to ensure accessibility and engagement for all learners. A commitment to collaboration, empathy, and continuous professional growth is essential.
