Medical Scribe Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Medical Scribe Specialist to play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare providers by accurately transcribing visitation notes into patients' medical records.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. You will be responsible for reviewing physician dictation, transcribing clinical notes, and preparing medical record documentation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and transcribing physician dictation into EHR systems
  • Preparing and assembling medical record documentation
  • Ensuring medical record compliance through self-documentation attestation
  • Updating patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information in patients' charts
  • Preparing and sending documentation to physicians for review and approval

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Live Medical Scriber
  • Administrative writing skills
  • Reporting skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Record-keeping
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Professionalism, confidentiality, and organization
  • Typing
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
  • Medical coding or successful completion of a certification program
  • Bachelor's degree with pre-health career track preferred
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
