Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Operations Insights Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our sales operations function, you will be responsible for building and maintaining dashboards, reports, and analytical models to monitor sales metrics, identify trends, and deliver insights on merchant acquisition, retention, growth, and regional performance.

About the Role

This is a challenging role that requires strong expertise in SQL, advanced experience with Tableau (dashboarding, reporting, visual analytics), proficiency in Python for data manipulation/transformations (DataFrames, Pandas, NumPy), and experience in Sales Operations (Salesforce CRM preferred).

Main Responsibilities

  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical models to monitor sales metrics, identify trends, and deliver insights on merchant acquisition, retention, growth, and regional performance.
  • Strategic Insights & Recommendations: Analyze sales data, market trends, and workflows to identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency, and revenue growth. Present clear and actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Forecasting & Planning Support: Support forecasting, capacity planning, and target setting by leveraging statistical models, historical data, and market intelligence for accurate projections.
  • Data Infrastructure & Tools: Partner with data engineering and BI teams to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and scalable solutions. Use SQL, Python, and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) for data extraction and presentation.
  • Sales Funnel Optimization: Analyze funnel performance, conversion rates, and sales cycle efficiency to identify bottlenecks and recommend process enhancements.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis to address specific business questions and provide timely data-driven insights for critical decisions.

Requirements

  • Strong Expertise in SQL: Proven experience in using SQL to manage and analyze large datasets.
  • Advanced Experience with Tableau: Proficiency in creating interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau.
  • Proficiency in Python: Strong knowledge of Python programming language and its application in data manipulation, transformations, and analysis.
  • Experience in Sales Operations: Proven experience in managing sales operations, preferably with Salesforce CRM.
