About the Role

\

Simplotel Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance Analyst to join its team. As a Senior Compliance Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the company's compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

\

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate laws, securities laws, labour laws, FEMA, and ROC compliances of India and the USA. They will be responsible for ensuring that all legal compliances and annual audits are completed within time by coordinating with auditors.

\

You will also be required to prepare agendas and papers for board meetings, committees, and annual general meetings (AGMs) and follow up on action points. Additionally, you will convene and service AGMs, EGMs (when required), take minutes, draft resolutions, and lodge required forms and annual returns including XBRL filing with appropriate departments.

\

The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience as a qualified CS. They will be able to work independently and effectively with the team, demonstrate good judgment, and possess good problem-solving skills. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations is also essential.

\

The estimated salary for this role is ₹800,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all legal compliances and annual audits are completed within time by coordinating with auditors\
  • Prepare agendas and papers for board meetings, committees, and annual general meetings (AGMs)\
  • Convene and service AGMs, EGMs (when required)\
  • Take minutes, draft resolutions, and lodge required forms and annual returns including XBRL filing with appropriate departments\
  • Handle investor queries and share recurring reports as per the agreement\
  • Provide legal, financial, and/or strategic advice to the management whenever required\
  • Maintain statutory books, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries\
  • Develop and oversee systems that ensure the company complies with all applicable codes, laws, and regulations\
  • Administer the ESOP plan of the company; keep ESOP records\
  • Prepare contractual agreements with suppliers and customers\
  • Ensure compliance with various labour laws to protect the interests of labor, industry, and stakeholders\
  • Oversee and manage daily program-wide accounting and finance functions\
  • Responsible for monthly reporting to the management and investors on the performance of the company\
  • Handle all investor queries and share recurring reports as per the agreement\
  • Manage accounts in books and process invoices ensuring indirect taxes (including GST) are charged as per applicable laws\
  • Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals\
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and adapt processes accordingly\
  • Analyze data and provide insights to inform business decisions\
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance\
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including employees, customers, and investors\
  • Represent the company in external forums and meetings\
  • Build relationships with vendors, partners, and other stakeholders\
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness\
  • Suggest new ideas and innovations to improve business operations\
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge\
  • Foster a culture of compliance and ethics within the organization\\
