We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Bangalore, India.

The estimated salary for this position is ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

Talent500 is committed to delivering high-quality services to our clients. We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst who will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our KYC profiles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality checks on KYC reviews completed by analysts for accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Ensure timely completion of KYC reviews of customers within stipulated project deadlines.
  • Produce high-quality KYC profiles and address quality issues promptly.
  • Meet customer needs and expectations by handling escalations and complaints in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Work with operational team leaders to ensure timely completion of profiles and prioritize workload to meet KYC objectives.
  • Mentor new joiners to the team and bring them up to speed on the process.
  • Highlight audit and compliance issues to management proactively.
  • Analyze root causes and develop action plans to improve quality scores.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to quickly learn new segments and business profiles to perform Customer Due Diligence/Enhanced Due Diligence.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills to assess higher-risk attributes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in writing risk assessments.
  • Ability to think from various angles and be proactive.
  • Experience with AML/KYC tools such as SWIFT KYC Registry, Factiva, Bankers Almanac, RDC, Internet Research, etc.
  • Knowledge of financial regulatory requirements and AML risk implications.
  • Self-driven personality with a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

  • Total 3-6 years of Customer Due Diligence/Enhanced Due Diligence experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a checker role.
  • Graduation in Commerce/Finance or equivalent is essential.
  • Flexibility to work in different shift timings.
  • Good understanding of MS Office and proven skills on banking platforms.
  • Additional certifications: ACAMS, ICA, IIBF KYC, and other Financial Crime Certifications (optional).
