Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer – Collaboration Platforms

A skilled and accomplished Senior Systems Engineer is sought to join a team that delivers innovative collaboration solutions. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge systems, ensuring seamless collaboration experiences for users.

About the Role:

  • Maintain and optimize collaboration systems, including preventive maintenance, capacity planning, and scalability to meet business needs.
  • Record and manage changes, configurations, incidents, problems, and processes to ensure system integrity.
  • Implement robust security measures and respond to failures or performance issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Produce comprehensive reports on system performance, capacity, availability, and security for senior management.
  • Develop technical documentation and collaborate with stakeholders on ongoing issues and projects to drive success.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor relationships to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Install, configure, integrate, and test new system components and applications to enhance functionality.
  • Enhance automation scripts and maintain existing ones to streamline processes.
  • Foster a culture of quality assurance by adhering to industry best practices and standards.
  • Perform maintenance or upgrades with minimal business impact, including on-call duty to ensure 24/7 system availability.
  • Analyze systems and participate in design and engineering projects to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Configure prototypes, deliver products, and manage solution implementation and vendor performance to meet project goals.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in systems engineering, collaboration platforms, and IT infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of system security, architecture, and design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages.
