Job Profile

We seek an experienced analyst to spearhead our retail banking sector initiatives. This role entails driving growth and innovation, ensuring successful project completion with a high degree of flexibility.

  • The chosen candidate will manage client projects in the region, supporting clients' strategic decisions through syndicated benchmarking and market research.
  • They must interpret market trends to identify patterns, extract insights, and highlight emerging opportunities.
  • Able to lead client and internal meetings effectively, addressing questions/queries using data and content expertise.
  • Understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions through proprietary tools, rigorous analysis, and customized reports or presentations.
  • Collaborate with case teams on BCG case engagements.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and timely project delivery.
Key Requirements
  • A strong Master's degree in an analytical or quantitative subject is mandatory.
  • 5+ years of experience in benchmarking, research, or business analysis are essential.
  • Some sector experience in financial services, consultancy, or market research is preferred, especially retail banking.
Technical Competencies
  • Advanced MS Office skills, including Excel (pivot tables, complex data sets) and PowerPoint are necessary.
  • Knowledge of Alteryx, Python, Tableau, or PowerBI is beneficial but not compulsory.
  • Ability to interrogate, interpret, evaluate, and model data to extract insights and answer queries is required.
  • Excellent analytical, rational thinking, and problem-solving ability are vital.
Non-Technical Skills
  • Engaging presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to run client meetings and handle difficult situations, are essential.
  • Project management skills, including time management and prioritization, are necessary.
  • Ability to handle data and information sensitively and confidentially is crucial.
