Job Title: Technical Publication Specialist

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Publication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the publications group, you will be responsible for creating, modifying and revising technical documentation for Airbus programs.

Your primary focus will be on developing high-quality technical manuals, instructions and other supporting materials. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all content meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy and completeness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, modify and revise technical documentation for Airbus programs, including A319, A320, A321, A330, A340, A350 and A380.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Airbus standards, tools and processes.
  • Familiarize yourself with Airbus tools such as SAP PCS module, SRM 3D Ident, Zamiz, Airbus Supply, Airnav, APS, PASS SSI and VPM.
  • Understand and implement impact analysis to create content meeting change requests.
  • Lead and train junior authors/illustrators on technical competence and process adherence.
  • Analyze root causes for rejections and take preventive actions.
  • Develop content for knowledge and training sessions.
  • Review work orders completed by junior authors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering (or) AME or Diploma in Aeronautics with technical publication experience.
  • Proven experience in technical publishing, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Leadership and training skills.
