Job Summary
- We are seeking a seasoned Delivery Manager to oversee the successful delivery of global programs and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple teams across various locations, fostering collaboration and driving results-oriented workstreams.
- Accountability extends to client satisfaction, quality deliverables, and growth strategies. Collaborate with onsite account managers to identify new opportunities and resource requirements.
- Lead RFP activities for new opportunities, develop compelling proposals, and defend them effectively.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for ongoing engagements, presenting insights to management.
- Serve as a single point of contact for offshore accounts, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
- Work closely with HR and hiring teams to meet resource needs in a timely manner.
- Conduct business review meetings with clients, providing strategic guidance and recommendations.
- Mentor next-level leaders, promoting growth and development within the organization.
- Foster a culture of open communication, where team members feel comfortable leading or following groups or teams.
- Possess top-notch consulting or relationship management skills, along with expertise in IT tools, techniques, systems, and solutions.
- Develop and present comprehensive blueprints for business transformations, addressing complex challenges and opportunities.
- Maintain healthy account margins, contributing to overall business success.
- Participate in architecture, design, and program planning discussions with senior client stakeholders, driving innovative solutions.
Knowledge Management
- Design and implement knowledge-sharing initiatives, publishing case studies and maintaining program or project documents in a central repository.
- Identify accelerators and innovations that drive business value.
- Analyze complex interdependencies to assemble optimal team compositions for delivery.
Program / Project Management
- Take charge of program or project objectives, developing strategic plans and tracking progress.
- Define benefits and success criteria for programs and projects, aligning with organizational goals.
- Track benefits and create reports, identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage dependencies and critical decision points, ensuring smooth program execution.
Delivery Management
- Conduct regular program reviews with stakeholders to address issues and ensure on-time delivery.
- Provide governance and resolve escalated project issues affecting the program.
- Evaluate periodic performance of key individuals across multiple project teams.
- Monitor all phases of the project, from requirement gathering to closure, suggesting corrective actions as needed.
- Track actual vs. planned progress using KPIs and KRAs.
- Manage conflicts, risks, and dependencies, ensuring program integrity.
- Scope Management: Conduct impact analyses for changes in programs, assessing cost and organizational implications, and share findings with clients.
People Management
- BUILD relationships with key project team members through performance reviews and updates, keeping them motivated and informed.
- Resolve team conflicts between multiple work streams or groups or individuals.
- Provide input on goal setting and performance appraisals for the team.
- Identify training needs based on client focus shifts.
- Motivate the team to participate in recruitment drives, training, and other organizational initiatives.
- Strong experience in Java/J2EE web development tech stack along with Agile methodology.
- Excellent communication skills along with experience in managing and motivating high-performance teams and individuals.
- Expertise in program management and handling multiple tracks at the same time.
- Strong experience in e-commerce or a client with a retail background.
- Proven ability to establish rapport, credibility, and influence others to drive results across the organization.
- Creative problem-solving skills for teams, project deliverables, and cross-functional issues amidst changing priorities.
- Skillfully manage the changing operational goals and demands by being flexible and resourceful.
- Experience in project management and/or delivery offshore or onshore models and agile development process.
- Passionate about operational excellence and governance.
- Proven ability to set expectations and communicate status to technical, business, or executive teams and take ownership of all critical issues to get logical closure.
- Experience of working in matrix organizations with varying technology practices.
- Ability to manage 50+ resources in single or multiple accounts.
- A Project Management Professional-certified candidate will have an advantage.
