Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our pricing strategy department, you will be responsible for monitoring competitor pricing and developing effective strategies that drive revenue and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and consumer behavior to inform pricing strategies.
  • Leverage data and insights from industry reports and Google Analytics to track user behavior, analyze traffic sources, and evaluate the impact of pricing changes on sales performance.
  • Identify opportunities for pricing optimization and profitability improvement by analyzing sales data, cost structures, and pricing models.
  • Develop strategies to enhance market presence for high-performing products and improve sales performance for underperforming products.
  • Continuously monitor pricing effectiveness and market changes, making adjustments as necessary, and assess competitor pricing strategies and market dynamics to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Assist in demand forecasting by analyzing historical sales data and market trends to predict future pricing and sales performance.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on pricing performance, market trends, and recommendations for management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • MBA in Finance, Marketing, Operations, Analytics, or related fields, or a Master's degree in Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 13-25 years of experience in pricing analysis, business intelligence, market research, or a related field, preferably within ecommerce or manufacturing industries.
  • Proven record of experience with Google Analytics, including relevant certifications, demonstrating the ability to effectively analyze web traffic and user behavior.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of dynamic pricing strategies, including the ability to analyze market conditions and adjust prices based on demand and competition.
  • Proficiency in Excel data analysis software, SQL, R, Python, and pricing software or tools.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
