Ground Handling Staff Role

The primary objective of a Ground Handling staff member is to provide essential services for aircraft arrival, departure, and turnaround.

A key player in the smooth operation of an airport, ground handling staff work together to ensure that every flight takes off and lands safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Aircraft Marshalling: Safeguarding the movement of aircraft on the ground by providing accurate marshalling signals
  • Passenger Handling: Effectively managing passenger check-in, boarding, and disembarkation processes
  • Cleaning: Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within aircraft and facilities
  • Cargo Handling: Coordinating cargo operations, including loading and unloading tasks
  • Refueling: Providing fuel services to aircraft prior to departure
  • Aircraft Maintenance and Servicing: Performing routine maintenance tasks to guarantee aircraft airworthiness
