Job Overview

As a key member of the airport operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functioning of the Airport Operations Control Centre (AOCC) in accordance with regulatory requirements and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the smooth operation of airport processes and sub-processes in real-time to achieve quality, efficiency, and punctuality objectives.
  2. Manage passenger, baggage, aircraft, and information flow in real-time to maintain high service standards.
  3. Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as approved by management to ensure compliance with regulations.
  4. Conduct daily operational activities in line with company policies and procedures.
  5. Coordinate resource allocation according to seasonal plans to optimize airport performance.
  6. Monitor stakeholder performance against defined processes and take corrective action when necessary.
  7. Prevent operational bottlenecks by proactively managing airport resources.
  8. Collaborate with team members to achieve airport objectives of efficiency, safety, and punctuality without compromising service quality.
  9. Ensure accurate data entry for all aircraft into the system and maintain high-quality data input into airport operational databases.
  10. Regularly audit basic data in AOS systems and implement process changes as per Process Change Management guidelines.
  11. Provide informative data for daily management reports and collaborate with team members to achieve coordination with airport partners.
  12. Map Integrated Management System processes accurately and disseminate relevant information to stakeholders for effective use of resources and timely performance.
  13. Promote the AOCC concept to new partners and brief visitors on AOCC operations.
  14. Ensure timely submission of operational reports to stakeholders and adhere to established timelines.
Requirements
  • Aviation industry experience: 9-14 years
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications and systems
  • Knowledge of airport operations and management principles
