Job Summary

This Technical Documentation Specialist role involves collecting information from project leaders, understanding data, and preparing documents in the latest versions of Word/LaTeX. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience working on science/engineering projects and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collecting project information from leaders and managers.
  • Understanding provided data and creating well-structured documents.
  • Preparing documents using Word/LaTeX and interactive software.
  • Suggesting improvements in document format and layout.
  • Giving control numbers to each document and maintaining version control.
  • Proper indexing and connection between documents through appendix numbering.
  • Checking prepared documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Submission of documents within scheduled timelines.
Tools Expertise:
  • Operating Systems: Windows, Linux/Unix, Ubuntu/equivalent.
  • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Open Office, Libre Office, LaTeX, Web-based tools.
  • Project Management Tools: MS Project, equivalent tools.
  • Drawing Tools: AutoCAD, Solid Works, Corel Draw, equivalent tools.
Requirements
