Job Opportunity

The objective of this role is to ensure the effective management and control of manufacturing operations' financial aspects.

  • Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements and reports to HQ in UK and UAE, adhering to established protocols.
  • Analyse manufacturing costs, variances, and production performance to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Conduct variance analysis, including material, labor, and overhead variances to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and maintain robust budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with long-term financial planning goals.
  • Implement and maintain efficient inventory management systems, controlling receipts and physical verification to prevent discrepancies.
  • Create and refine financial models to support forecasting and long-term financial planning initiatives.
  • Validate, approve, review, and manage the collection and payment of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) for external and internal customers and suppliers.
  • Ensure seamless inter-company transactions, inter-company settlements, and reconciliation with headquarters and subsidiaries.
  • Maintain robust cost accounting systems and processes, analysing cost structures and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Monitor and control manufacturing overhead costs, accurately allocating them to products and processes.
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to understand financial implications of manufacturing activities.
  • Provide valuable financial insights and recommendations to support operational decision-making.
  • Utilise job order costing and process costing techniques to ensure accurate product costing.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for external auditors.
  • Coordinate audit activities across all subsidiaries, ensuring timely and complete submission of audit schedules and reports.
  • Address audit queries efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, maintaining accurate records of cash transactions.
  • Process international payments to foreign vendors, maintaining relationships with banking institutions.
  • Liaise with external auditors and ROC consultants to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register (FAR), verifying capitalisations, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
  • Support in drafting and finalising financial statements, ensuring timely submission to auditors and senior management.
  • Oversee GST compliance and financial operations, adhering to tax laws and regulations.
