Job Title: IT Sourcing Specialist

An experienced IT sourcing specialist is required to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing, with expertise in managing complex supplier relationships and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster collaboration and communication with client stakeholders and colleagues to deliver business goals.
  • Develop key client stakeholder matrices, maintaining regular engagement and driving high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Ensure supplier relationship management for assigned suppliers.
  • Act as an IT category expert, providing sourcing initiatives and expertise on sub-categories (HW, SW, SaaS, Network, Telecom, Co-lo).
Sourcing Planning:
  • Perform spend and contract analysis to identify sourcing and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Formulate cost/license/service models for appropriate business needs.
  • Define and implement IT strategies and sourcing area plans for global and regional strategies.
Management of Sourcing Initiatives:
  • Lead and execute IT sourcing projects from end-to-end in line with agreed timelines and service quality.
  • Deliver allocated savings targets through effective management of sourcing initiatives.
  • Adhere to defined sourcing policies and processes.
  • Ensure ethics in supplier and/or client engagements.
Sourcing Support:
  • Provide sourcing subject matter expertise to support client engagements and pitches.
  • Provide sourcing planning and execution of projects across a dynamic, multi-client environment.
Requirements:
  • Qualification:
  • University degree in economics, supply management, or legal, or industry experience equivalent.
  • Additonal sourcing/procurement certification will be advantageous.
  • Strong oral and written English and Simplified Chinese (preferred).
  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 12 to 15 years' experience in strategic sourcing, preferably in an international environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to positively influence people to make decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team-player in a cross-functional team.
  • Strong sourcing and contracting experience in IT Infrastructure Products and Services, Office IT Products and Services, and Cloud and Datacenter services.
  • Deep understanding of License Model, Service Models, IT – Applications and Infrastructure.
  • Ability to negotiate and maintain relationships with third-party IT vendors like IBM, Oracle, Wipro, and small OEMs.
  • Highly competent in negotiations and contract knowledge with a strong ability to converse, negotiate with suppliers/clients and review contracts in English.
  • Strong project management experience in conducting tenders (request for information/proposal/quotation).
