Integration Expert in Supply Chain and Manufacturing

The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in designing and implementing enterprise integrations across supply chain, manufacturing, and industrial automation environments.

This role requires a hands-on integration expert who can bridge business processes and technical integration patterns, ensuring data flows seamlessly between enterprise platforms and shop-floor systems.

  • Design, develop, and implement integration solutions that meet the needs of various industries including life sciences, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology.
  • Apply industry standards such as ISA-95 and ISA-88 in integration design to ensure consistency and interoperability.
  • Architect and implement Industry 4.0–ready integration frameworks to support smart manufacturing and connected supply chains.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, map data flows, and establish secure communication protocols.
  • Leverage APIs, middleware, ESBs, and modern integration tools for scalable deployments.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, data integrity).
  • Troubleshoot and optimize integration performance, reliability, and scalability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in system integration, industrial automation, or manufacturing IT/OT.
  • Expertise in ISA-95 (Enterprise-Control System Integration) and ISA-88 (Batch Control) standards.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP, MES, and supply chain solutions.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation technologies (PLC, SCADA, DCS) and data exchange protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, etc.).
  • Exposure to Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, digital twins, and advanced analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of integration platforms (e.g., Apache Camel, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of regulatory compliance in life sciences manufacturing (GxP, GMP).
