About the Role
The Procurement Manager will lead strategic sourcing initiatives with a focus on value, speed, compliance, and risk management.
This position requires strong expertise in Request for Proposal (RFP) development, contract negotiations, vendor relationship management, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet business objectives, including RFPs and contract negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, industry regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Maintain relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee supplier performance.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices to strengthen category management capabilities.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably in technology procurement within financial services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive operational effectiveness.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and vendor relationship management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across divisions.
- Leadership qualities to set objectives, coach teams, and drive results-driven initiatives.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in operational sourcing teams in technology.
- Experience in regulatory remediation, including data privacy and OCIR.
- Familiarity with industry frameworks and governance practices.
