Legal Director for EV and AI Strategy

This role is responsible for driving the legal strategy and execution across our EV and AI businesses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology law, data privacy, and commercial contracting.

The Legal Director will work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement strategies that balance legal risk with business agility. This includes negotiating contracts with distributors, OEMs, and channel partners, as well as advising on AI governance and data usage.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the intersection of law and technology, as well as experience in building or mentoring legal teams. They will be able to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement legal strategies for EV and AI businesses
  • Negotiate contracts with distributors, OEMs, and channel partners

Requirements:

  • LL.B. (LL.M. preferred) with 12–16 years PQE across law firms and in-house roles
  • Strong experience in technology/AI, data privacy, and commercial contracting
  • Expertise in DPDP, GDPR, AI regulation, consumer law, and commercial negotiations
  • Exceptional ability to balance legal risk with business agility
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
