The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in administering accounting operations to meet legal requirements in India and US.
They will be responsible for supporting bookkeeping, MIS reporting, and AR/AP activities, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close. They will also support corporate budget and forecasting activities, monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures, and advise team members regarding non-routine reporting transactions.
The successful candidate will work closely with the company auditor to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit, supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met, and take ownership of their own work as well as their team's responsibilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Good knowledge of US GAAP, accounting procedures, taxation, and other statutory and legal matters enabling core accounting and finance functions.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral), relationship-building skills, and ability to lead and develop others.
- Hands-on experience in QuickBooks, Zoho, and Microsoft Office.
- Immediate joiner, qualified or semi-qualified CA/CMA.
- Experience in IT/service sector.
- Knowledge in US and Indian taxes.
- Overall 4 to 7 years of experience in finance/accounts with 2-3 years of people management experience.
- Having a strong financial and accounting background with a passion for helping teams get to the next level.
- Commerce graduate, preferably qualified or semi-qualified CA/CMA.
